Instagram is one of my favourite places to connect and share my creative lifestyle content, but I also love it as a place for inspiration, especially for interior design. One of my biggest goals in life is to buy a home to renovate and completely customize it into our dream home! That’s why I love following the best interior design instagram accounts!

I’m huge on visualization, so whenever I see interior design and decor I love, I save it so I can look back on it and visualize what our dream space will look like! There’s no shortage of inspiring interior design instagram accounts.

I fell in love with the @ispydiy Instagram account as soon as I saw it and I’m dreaming of the design for our first home! I love the Scandinavian meets country farmhouse vibe of her design aesthetic.

She also recently renovated a barn house that her and her family will be moving into, and it’s just as beautiful! I’ve always been a big fan of the country/barn house design style and she’s mastered the style perfectly. She has the best home diy instagram by far; I love watching her spaces transform!

For me, Jillian Harris is major #lifestylegoals and a big part of that is her gorgeous home. She’s a professional interior designer, host of Love it or List it Vancouver and recently completely renovated a home in Kelowna where she lives with her hubby, two kids and their boxer pup. She also has one of the best interior design blogs to follow!

I love her airy, muted yet colourful and cozy decor style. She mixes trendy pieces with big comfortable couches, plush pillows and cozy accents. Every piece of her home is a dream, inside and out! For me, she definitely has the best interior designer instagram out there!

Bright, colourful filled with beautiful plants, @gypsytanhome is a by-product of @gypsytan, a skincare, wellness and travel influencer who happens to have the most charming home. She created an account dedicated solely to interior design after lots of interest from her followers on her lifestyle account, which to me has made her the best home decor instagram influencer!

She’s perfected the art of mixing colours, patterns and materials for a home that’s both fun and sophisticated. It’s a space any twenty-something girly-girl would dream of!

If this instagram account isn’t #housegoals, I don’t know what is. I’m absolutely obsessed with her interior style. It’s charming and cozy, with unique vintage pieces and a Mediterranean-style vibe. It’s the perfect family home and such an inspiration for what I’d love my one-day home to look like! 

Her and her husband also share their interior projects on the account, so there’s never a shortage of interior decor inspiration! She’s absolutely one of the best interior design Instagram accounts to follow in my books!

With cool, California vibes, the @sfgirlbybay instagram account has been a long time fave of mine! Her design style is elevated with a touch of whimsy, and it just can’t be better described than “cool”.

She has the dreamiest reading room filled with colourful books and the coziest sitting area and anytime she posts a photo of her home, I become lit up with good vibes and inspiration!

I’ve been following Kristine for quite some time and was initially drawn in by their beautiful Victoria island home. They’ve since moved from that space, renovated a new home, and are now building their dream house from the ground up.

Whatever space they’re in, she continues to be a major source of home decor inspiration and it has definitely made her the best home renovation instagram account I follow. Her style is so elegant and classic, but also always on trend. I can’t wait to wait to follow her account as her and her beautiful family move into their new home!
