Yesterday was Canada so Happy Canada Day to any fellow Canadians!
Me and my boyfriend decided to take a drive down to the beaches for the afternoon. It was such a warm and beautiful day to walk around. We walked along the boardwalk and also around the beaches area that has lots of shops, restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops, juice bars…everything! We made a trip to Moo Milk Bar and Stefan got one of the most scrumptious cookies I’ve ever had! I opted for an iced tea from David’s Tea and it was delicious and refreshing. We also spent a lot of time walking through parks and on the beach relaxing and people/dog watching hehe. so.many.dogs!
It was SO hot out yesterday so I thought a crop top would be perfect to battle the heat in! I got this one form Aritzia last year and have worn it for a bunch of different occasions- music festivals, out on the town, and this is the first time I wore it for a day outing. I paired it with these flowy Urban Outfitters shorts. I find that usually with a tight crop top its nice to wear a looser bottom rather than tight and tight. These Aldo sandals are also super versatile and so is this vintage purse! They are both neutral colours that go well with anything. Since it was Canada Day I wanted to look Canada-ish, but since the only red pieces I have are either jeans or sweaters, I thought burgundy was close enough 😉 I love Stefan’s shorts, they are such a nice colour for summer and go well with pretty much everything! They are from the J Crew factory outlet and they are awesome! They looked great with this striped top and I also love his Ray Bans that have the red detailing inside!
Hope you guys enjoyed this post and have a wonderful hump day!
