My dad is the best stocking stuffer in our family, and maybe the entire world. Every Christmas morning, me, my mom and sister wake up to overflowing stockings filled with everything ranging from magazines to chocolate and candy, to hand cream and lip balm, and so much more. He’s truly the best. This year, I thought I’d take some cues from my dad to put together a stocking stuffer guide with gifts for the girl on the go!
If you know any on-the-go gals, you’ll know that there are some things they can’t live without. The hustle and bustle of each new day needs to be met by items that keep her on track, with style and comfort in mind.
Coffee is a no-brainer, so this travel mug is a must. Rather than splurging at Starbucks every day, she can fill up this re-usable mug at home to carry her favourite caffeinated drink. Or if she’s totally strapped for time in the morning, she can bring it to her favorite café to fill it up there. It’s the best of both worlds!
With the dip in temperature, and snow inevitably on its way, a pair of mittens will keep her coffee-holding hands warm. If you’re a fellow Canadian, you know just how perfect these “Sooo Cold” mitts are. They’re adorable and they ring true; she’ll be so thankful for them on the coldest winter days.
I’m also head over heels for this leather tech case. All the colours are gorgeous, but I’m especially drawn to the blush. Whether you have a blogger or business babe on your list, this tech case is a dream. With pockets for cords and cables, cards, her passport, an IPad mini, and more, she can stash everything she needs in one chic, foldable case. Plus, you can get it monogrammed just for her!
Speaking of monogramming, how perfect is this passport holder/luggage tag duo? Customize it with her first initial for a personal touch. Any girl on the go is bound to travel a lot, and both these things are so key. I started using a passport holder just over a year ago, and let me tell you, it is SO much better than leaving it loose in your purse. A bold bag tag also makes it much easier to find your luggage in the sea of bags!
A good lip balm and hand cream are also essential, especially when the cold weather hits. They’re two things I make sure to always have in my bag come wintertime. Chapped lips and hands are the absolute worst, and these two products are amazing. The Lumière de Vie hand cream is the crème de la crème of hand creams containing shea butter, coconut oil, and sunflower seed oil to keep your hands soft and hydrated. And with avocado and olive oil, aloe, and beeswax, Bobbi Brown’s lip balm works to soothe and protect her lips.
A pen is also a must-have gift for a girl on the go. Whether writing in a notebook or her agenda, she needs something for jotting important things down. And a pretty watch never hurt. I love the minimal yet classy design this Daniel Wellington one, and the Swarovski crystals are a beautiful touch.
For winter, there’s nothing better than plaid, and why not gift her a black and white plaid phone case? It’s stylish and perfect for the season. She’ll also need a pair of headphones to listen to her favourite tunes and podcasts while she’s running from meeting to meeting.
As a girl on the go herself, I can tell you that all of these gifts will make your giftee swoon! Are you a girl on the go? Is there anything you would add to the list? Let me know in the comments below!
