I have this thing for swimsuits. I don’t know exactly what it is about them – maybe it’s the fact that they conjure up memories of the beach and sun kissed skin, but I’ve always found myself obsessed with the cool patterns and silhouettes, and they’ve only gotten better over the years. Brands like Triangl, Azura Bay, and Marysia have hit the nail on the head in terms of their fun and luxe designs, and the fact that some of my favourite bloggers seem to live their lives island hopping is enough to give me major swimsuit envy on the daily!

Your beach style is an extension of your everyday look! These swimsuits will take you from summer to your sandiest travel destinations looking totally on point! From one pieces to scalloped bikinis to eco-friendly designs, these are the swimsuits to splurge on this summer!

I’ve also very recently booked a trip to Maui (check out my post on what to pack to survive a long flight here!) plus a girls’ trip to Vegas, so I can’t help but procrastinate my days away looking for swimwear to blow my paycheques on. I can’t wait to wake up to the sound of the ocean, walk down to my favourite coffee shop for a morning pick-me-up, eat the freshest fruit, and relax in the sun in my new swimsuits!

There’s something about beach style that has such a draw. All you need is a swimsuit, sunglasses and tousled hair to look effortlessly chic. From a striped one piece to a scalloped bikini, these are the swimsuits on my radar right now.

1) Triangl Piper bikini
swimsuits
I’ve wanted a Triangl bikini for a while now, but it’s so hard to choose which one! I love them all, but this bright red looks amazing on tanned skin (if you frequent their Instagram you probably know that). I also think it nods to romance and would look amazing with a black kimono-style beach cover-up.

2) Azura Bay Serra keyhole wrap top
swimsuits

Azura Bay is an ethically-made and eco-friendly swim (and lingerie and loungewear) line, and I’m obsessed with this design! I love the keyhole detail and how the straps cross underneath to tie in the back. It would go with any black swimsuit bottom, or you could mix it up with a fun colour or pattern.

2) Private Party one piece
swimsuits

One pieces are in. They’re not so ideal if you want to tan your stomach (and the less material the better when you’re laying in the scorching heat) but I think they’re great when you want to switch it up on vacation from day to day. Sometimes your body needs a break from the sun and a one piece is the perfect way to do just that. This one is so much fun, and since Maui is an island, it seems too good to be true!

3) Marysia Mott bikini
swimsuits

I absolutely love high neck bikini tops right now, and the scallop detail on this one takes the cake. It’s feminine, chic, and adds a playful vibe to your beach wear. All of Marysia’s swimwear is gorgeous, but this one really stands out to me. And all of the colours are stunning. I would personally get it in the grey – I think it’s unique and that it would look great with a tan – but the blue is striking and the black is totally classic.

5) J.Crew one piece
swimsuits

Stripes are classy and fun, and the white and light blue colour combo just reminds me of the beach. This swimsuit would look great with a straw sun hat like this one. Throw on some cute retro sunnies, pack up your beach bag and make a beeline for the nearest sand bank.
